The Golden Age
The Golden Age is a private reception hall in Shanghai designed for social and recreational use. The interior covers 4500 square meters and is divided into three areas for different age groups: a hidden area, an art zone and a trendy room. Each area takes a classic Chinese poem as its theme. The hidden area uses winding aisles and furniture to form soft partitions. The art zone has electric doors that adjust the size of the space. Materials include marble, jade, granite, teak, copper and terrazzo. The design combines Eastern and Western ideas.
The Golden Age Recreation Space by Creative Group has been featured as an innovative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award. The Golden Age Recreation Space won the Golden A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design accolade that recognizes exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
