Aprol
Aprol is a bar located on the top floor of a five-story building in the historical center of Moscow. The interior is designed in a pop art style, with orange as the main color, neon lighting, plants and large art objects. A six meter statue of David, printed in parts on a 3D printer, floats under the ceiling and is visible from outside. Six steam fireplaces are set into the low bar counter, so guests reach through the flames to take a glass. A panoramic window brings in daylight and opens a view of the old city.
Aprol Bar by Valery Lizunov was recognized as a grand illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Aprol Bar was awarded the Golden A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design competition that honors exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
