Ecojew
Eco-jew and Decorative Objects is a collection of jewelry and decorative pieces made from paper. The bracelets, necklaces and objects are formed from discarded toilet paper roll tubes and from handmade recycled paper. All pieces are made by hand with a cutting technique. Production is carried out by a social inclusion project in Brazil that serves low-income people with mental illness and social vulnerability. The collection gives a new use to a material that is discarded every day, and it keeps the whole cycle sustainable, from material to production.
Ecojew Jewelry by Roberta Sa Faustini was featured as a creative representation of fashion design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Ecojew Jewelry received the Bronze A' Design Award in Jewelry Design in 2020. The A' Jewelry Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design competition which recognizes excellent design of rings, necklaces, bracelets, earrings, brooches, pendants, cufflinks, anklets and more.
