Blood Value
Blood Value is a mobile application designed to connect blood donors with hospitals and patients. The main screen offers two functions: blood donation and blood demand. The donation section shows nearby qualified hospitals on a map and allows an appointment to be scheduled according to the physical condition of the donor. The demand section shows local hospital blood inventory by blood type and allows a request to be published so matching donors can respond. The platform works with cooperating hospitals to support legal donation and reduce blood trade.
Blood Value Service Platform by Siyang Xu was identified as an innovative representation of communication design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Blood Value Service Platform won the Bronze A' Design Award in Mobile Technologies, Applications and Software Design in 2020.
