Lvyou Road Jinmao Palace
Lvyou Road Jinmao Palace is a sales center located in Jinan, China. The interior design continues the style of the existing architecture and uses simple lines to shape large surfaces. Forms of mountains and water are brought into the space to create a calm and poetic atmosphere. Brick walls based on patterns of ancient Chinese city walls and grilles that filter light produce an interplay of light and shadow. Serene passages first offer a restrained spatial experience and then open into wider areas, inviting visitors to explore. The strip bricks were fixed onto the walls by hand.
Lvyou Road Jinmao Palace Sales Center by Zhen Chu has been highlighted as an innovative example of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Lvyou Road Jinmao Palace Sales Center was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design competition that celebrates excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
