House of Forest PalyCapsule
House of Forest PlayCapsule is a 180 square meter indoor play space for children. The interior hosts book readings, craft workshops and lectures, and it also serves as a care center where parents can leave children in a safe place. The design is inspired by traditional Chinese paper cutting, and 2D and 3D patterns recreate an ancient tree from fairy tales. Color coating, wood veneer, carpet and terrazzo form the surfaces. Simple furniture, safe corners and protected columns support safety, while a gentle maze layout encourages exploration.
House of Forest PalyCapsule Entertainment by studio revo and fineland architecture was featured as a creative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award.
