Natural Flow
Natural Flow is a landscape design for a residential community. The layout follows a modern minimal geometric style, in which horizontal and vertical lines define separate spaces. A geometric water feature, walls set along the buildings, and framed groups of plants mark the entrance. Circulation routes are arranged in stages, so outdoor and indoor movement remain distinct. Ramps and staircases connect the public spaces on several floors. A sunken garden brings sunlight and fresh air to the lower level, and tall zelkova trees are reflected in the still water.
Natural Flow Landscape by Hsu Fu Chu was selected as an outstanding representation of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Natural Flow Landscape was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Landscape Planning and Garden Design in 2020. The A' Landscape Planning and Garden Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design award that honors exceptional design of landscape designs, public parks, residential gardens, urban plazas, campus designs, green roofs, waterfront developments, Eco-Parks, botanical gardens and more.
