Enkindle
Enkindle is a chocolate box designed for dark chocolate mini tablets in two flavors, chili and lemon with pepper. The design joins two boxes, which serve as the covers of a pop-up card. Once unfolded, the card reveals an illustrated story in three-dimensional cut outs. Cut outs on the inner side show the mini tablets, shaped as a volcano for the chili flavor and as a gold bar treasure for the lemon and pepper flavor. The reference recalls the past, when spices were as valuable as gold. The box is made of cardboard and can be kept after the chocolate is eaten.
Enkindle Chocolate Box by ION AVRAM has been recognized as an exceptional example of communication design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Enkindle Chocolate Box was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2020. The A' Packaging Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design accolade which celebrates exceptional design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
