Line Rings
Line Rings is a collection of nine rings designed to highlight the interaction between the wearer and the jewelry. A moveable sphere inside each ring slides along a track and gives feedback through sound, vibration and rotation. The collection was inspired by the labyrinth and by geometric architecture. Multi-segment structures create varied paths for the sphere. The rings are produced by three-dimensional printing and lost wax casting in brass with silver plating. Each ring measures approximately 4 by 4 by 4 centimeters.
Line Rings Jewelry by Yuanzheng Yang has been selected as a creative example of fashion design by the A' Design Awards. Line Rings Jewelry earned the Silver A' Design Award in Jewelry Design in 2021.
