Neon Nights
Neon Nights is an event design created for a fashion trade fair in Hong Kong. The concept combines current fashion colour trends with the look of retro Hong Kong neon street signs. Three areas were designed. A welcome installation stands at the main entrance of the venue. The entry of the exhibition hall received a matching treatment. Inside the hall, a 300 square metre multifunctional space hosts fashion shows, seminars and informal meetings. Metal frames with die cut patterns, backlit coloured panels and neon style signs shape the vibrant look.
Neon Nights Event Organiser Space by Hong Kong Trade Development Council has been featured as an exceptional example of service design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Neon Nights Event Organiser Space won the Silver A' Design Award in Event and Happening Design in 2021. The A' Event and Happening Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design accolade which rewards excellent design of trade fairs, award ceremonies, festivals, conferences, exhibitions, concerts, product launches, charity events and more.
