Living Naturally
Living Naturally is the interior design of a four-floor villa in Tainan, Taiwan, shared by three generations of one family. Modern style is combined with Japanese design techniques, and natural materials such as plain surfaces and stacked wood create a calm and comfortable atmosphere. The outer walls are solid to protect privacy, while large windows face the inner garden. Glass partitions, including a floor-to-ceiling glass wall behind the sofa, extend daylight and open views. A sliding glass door between the living room and the dining room can be opened or closed as needed.
Living Naturally Residential House by Hui Ting Wang was identified as a grand example of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Living Naturally Residential House earned the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design accolade that rewards exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
