Van Gogh's Sunflower
Van Gogh's Sunflowers is a pair of handmade earrings inspired by a still life painting of sunflowers. The earrings are made of 18 karat gold and set with natural citrines and yellow diamonds in bezel settings. Many shades of yellow citrine recreate the tones of the painting. The gemstones overlap each other and create a three-dimensional effect, similar to the layers of a flower. A matte finish with fine lines represents the leaves, while a polished finish represents the branches. The bold shape gives the design a sculptural appearance.
Van Gogh's Sunflower Earrings by Larissa Moraes was featured as an outstanding representation of fashion design by the A' Design Award. Van Gogh's Sunflower Earrings received the Bronze A' Design Award in Jewelry Design in 2021. The A' Jewelry Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design recognition program which rewards excellent design of rings, necklaces, bracelets, earrings, brooches, pendants, cufflinks, anklets and more.
