Jinbei Noble
Jinbei Noble is a hotel interior located in Sihanouk port, Cambodia. The design joins the idea of an island with contemporary court style, Norman style and colonial Nanyang style. The lobby is built with marble, textured wood, metal and crystal, and uses water wave textures and refracted light. Starfish and shell forms are used as art installations to soften the hard surfaces. Room walls are finished in fish belly white stone and floors in black stone. Linear light strips follow the walls and floors of the corridors.
Jinbei Noble Hotel by Shaoyun Li has been highlighted as a creative representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Jinbei Noble Hotel won the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design recognition program which honors superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
