Yanghe Personal Letters Baijiu
Yanghe Personal Letters Baijiu is packaging for a Chinese spirit produced in Suqian, Jiangsu province, an area known for its liquor production. The design presents the calligraphy of Chinese literati in the form of handwritten letters, while a local map shows the rivers, lakes and wetland that surround the distillery. The bottle is made of ceramic with a matte white glaze, and the bottle cap can be used as a drinking cup. The outer box is made of environmentally friendly corrugated paper wrapped with a paper cover, and the box opens easily.
Yanghe Personal Letters Baijiu Packaging by Wen Liu was highlighted as an innovative example of communication design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Yanghe Personal Letters Baijiu Packaging was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2021. The A' Packaging Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design prize which celebrates outstanding design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
