Fusion
Fusion is a residential interior design for an apartment in New Taipei City, Taiwan. The floor area is about 59.5 square meters. The original three-bedroom layout was changed into a two-bedroom plan with an added study. Open living and dining areas enlarge the public space. Clear glass partitions in the study widen the visual field. Hidden doors, sliding doors and ample storage cabinets reduce wasted space. Materials include laminate flooring, iron paint, embossed glass, art paint and imported wallpaper. The design combines American and industrial style features.
Fusion Residence by Ting-Chang Chang was recognized as an outstanding example of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Fusion Residence received the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious international design accolade which honors superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
