Zhanggong Times
Zhanggong Times is a packaging design for a Baijiu produced in Jiangxi province, China. The bottle is made of ceramic with decorative firing. The front of the box uses goffered paper, and the main logo is placed on a metal plate. The design takes inspiration from Ganzhou, known as a birthplace of red culture. Red is used as a symbolic color and is combined with auxiliary graphics. A calm illustration shows regional geographic and historical elements, including the Gan River. The package measures 160 by 120 by 330 millimeters.
Zhanggong Times Alcoholic Beverage by Wen Liu was featured as an outstanding illustration of communication design by the A' Design Award. Zhanggong Times Alcoholic Beverage was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2021. The A' Packaging Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design competition that recognizes superior design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
