Bali Dawn
Bali Dawn is a residential apartment interior located in Taiwan and completed in 2020. The narrow home is opened at both ends to admit direct sunlight. One end serves as a multifunctional balcony used as a view, a bathroom, a toilet and a laundry area. A glass box extends the balcony line inward and brings natural light to the middle of the plan. The rigid partition between the living room and the dining kitchen is removed to widen the shared zone. A rotating glass door acts as a flexible partition for the bedroom and offers both privacy and openness.
Bali Dawn Residential Apartment by Benson Wu has been highlighted as an innovative representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Bali Dawn Residential Apartment was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2023. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design prize that honors outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
