Times Pavilion
Times Pavilion is an exhibition space created for a Chinese property enterprise. The pavilion moves away from static interior layouts. A movable wall, formed of large LED display screens, can be folded and repositioned along a track. The linkage of track, machinery and program shifts the wall back and forth to change the space. The screens present the development history of the company and can be updated in real time, which reduces the material waste of printed displays. The layout follows human movement to form a continuous panoramic route.
Times Pavilion Exhibition by Teng Gu was recognized as a creative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Times Pavilion Exhibition earned the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design recognition program which honors outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
