Let’s Play School
Let's Play School is a spring festival event design created for a theme park in Seoul. The theme joins the start of the school year with the arrival of spring. School elements and cherry blossoms are combined with the theme park setting. The installation includes a school bus, a school yard and a road leading to the school, where the resident characters appear in school uniforms. Photo zones are placed at several points for visitors of all ages. Wood, metal structures, artificial flowers and LED lighting are used, and the lights create a calm mood at night.
Let’s Play School Spring Festival by jaesu Choi has been featured as an outstanding representation of service design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Let’s Play School Spring Festival received the Bronze A' Design Award in Event and Happening Design in 2021. The A' Event and Happening Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design award which honors outstanding design of trade fairs, award ceremonies, festivals, conferences, exhibitions, concerts, product launches, charity events and more.
