Enjoy the Tone of Art
Enjoy the Tone of Art is a reception center of 90 square meters, completed in Taichung, Taiwan. The layout connects the spaces through a crisscross axis formed by the display shelf, a large circle on the ceiling, the center of the sofa and an iron piece screen. The screen defines a semi private discussion area. The reception counter uses grey art coating and white artificial stone instead of marble. Three art coatings are applied, all free of formaldehyde and low in volatile organic compounds. A hand painted wall forms the core image of the space.
Enjoy the Tone of Art Reception Center by Ego Design Studio was featured as an outstanding representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Enjoy the Tone of Art Reception Center earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design prize that honors outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
