Sunset Sunrise
Sunset Sunrise is a ring inspired by the changing light of sunrise and sunset. The ring has two parts, a rigid main body with a fixed half torus and a movable half torus, joined by a hidden screw. Turning the movable part shifts the ring between closed and open positions and gradually reveals the diamond. The movement can be stopped at any point, so the ring can be worn fully open, partially open or fully closed, and each position creates a new expression. Sunset Sunrise is handcrafted from 925 sterling silver with a high polished finish.
Sunset Sunrise Ring by Ayse Teke Mingu was recognized as an outstanding example of fashion design by the A' Design Awards. Sunset Sunrise Ring earned the Iron A' Design Award in Jewelry Design in 2021. The A' Jewelry Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design recognition program which recognizes outstanding design of rings, necklaces, bracelets, earrings, brooches, pendants, cufflinks, anklets and more.
