Lakeside Lodge
The Lakeside Lodge was created as an extended image of the private villa. It is hoped that the natural atmosphere of the mountains, forests, sky and water can be injected into the house. Considering the client’s nostalgia for the lakeside scene, the internal scenery of the reflective space is similar to the feeling of water reflection, makes the natural colour of the house more diffuse. Adhered to the eco-friendly concept, through interweaving colours and textures of different materials including idle stock materials, it shows layers of characteristics and renders a modern Zen style.
Lakeside Lodge Residential by Zhe-Wei Liao was identified as a grand example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Lakeside Lodge Residential received the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design recognition program which rewards superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
