SLOW DANCE
Slow Dance is a residential apartment interior design covering 225 square meters in New Taipei City. The dining room serves as the axis of the home. A sculptural spatial object stands in the dining area, partly open and partly solid, formed from angular ironwork combined with stone and woodwork. The metal frame can hold flower vases or photo frames, and a sliding shelf door in the middle provides storage. Natural stones, dyed wood veneer and striped glass balance cool modern elements with a warm and homelike character.
SLOW DANCE RESIDENTIAL APARTMENT by YII Design was selected as a grand example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. SLOW DANCE RESIDENTIAL APARTMENT won the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design recognition program which rewards superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
