Vilajuiga Water
Vilajuiga Lightly Sparkling Water is a glass bottle for naturally carbonated mineral water. The bottle is made of pure white glass, chosen for its high transparency. The blue colour of the label creates soft blue shades within the glass. The asymmetric form and the organic shapes refer to the Emporda region, where the rocks are eroded by the tramontana wind. Depending on the point of view, the geometry of the bottle shows several different shapes. The long neck helps the water flow and makes the bottle easy to carry. The bottle measures 65 millimetres in diameter and 220 millimetres in height.
Vilajuiga Water Bottle by David Grifols has been identified as an outstanding representation of communication design by the A' Design Awards. Vilajuiga Water Bottle earned the Silver A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2021. The A' Packaging Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design award which celebrates outstanding design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
