Future Ark
The Ark of Future is an interior design for a private residence with an area of 188 square meters. The home was planned for a young family that often hosts gatherings. A semi-partitioned layout joins the kitchen, dining room and living room into one open public area. Four bedrooms are placed at the edges of the plan and face river and mountain views. Surfaces use cement, wood and stone in states close to their original form. Smoke guiding equipment and range hoods work together to control cooking fumes in the open kitchen.
Future Ark Private Residence by Kun Tang has been selected as a creative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Future Ark Private Residence earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design accolade that rewards excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
