Wanda Mall
Wanda Mall is a commercial landscape project in Lanzhou, China. The design covers about 227600 square meters, including 27800 square meters of roof landscape. Forest is the main theme, and local heritage such as the Silk Road, the Yellow River and the Loess Plateau informs the layout. Native trees and drought-tolerant plants are combined with introduced species to suit the dry and windy climate and to limit maintenance. Artificial stone is used as a decorative material. The aim is to make daily contact with nature part of a commercial setting.
