Chez Vous
Chez Vous is a visual identity created for a Belgian restaurant in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The identity reinterprets Belgian icons, such as Magritte, the Manneken Pis, rain and traditional fries, through a simple illustration style. Short texts include Belgian dialect variations, adding a sense of humor to the graphic compositions. The identity is applied to menus, posters, panels, packaging and t-shirts, giving the restaurant visual unity. Menus and posters are printed in offset with CMYK colors, while the t-shirts are printed digitally.
Chez Vous Branding by Ruis Vargas was recognized as an outstanding representation of communication design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Chez Vous Branding earned the Silver A' Design Award in Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design in 2021. The A' Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design recognition program that honors excellent design of logos, posters, infographics, brochures, packaging designs, business cards, book covers, billboards and more.
