Green Rhythm of City
Green Rhythm of City is a sales reception center completed in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, in November 2020. The project covers 486 square meters on a city site framed by buildings on both sides. The plan divides the area equally between landscape and built volume, joining a semi-permanent building with sloped green terrain. Two entrances are provided: a sloped green parkway that leads to the outdoor exhibition space on the second floor, and a main entrance at ground level. Landscape art and garden paths beautify the street and support sustainability.
Green Rhythm of City Reception Center by Chao Yen Chen has been identified as an exceptional illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Green Rhythm of City Reception Center was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in Landscape Planning and Garden Design in 2021. The A' Landscape Planning and Garden Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design recognition program which honors outstanding design of landscape designs, public parks, residential gardens, urban plazas, campus designs, green roofs, waterfront developments, Eco-Parks, botanical gardens and more.
