Mushroom Fantasy
Mushroom Fantasy is a ring inspired by the world of mushrooms and childhood fairy tales. The ring is made of 18K yellow gold and is hand fabricated from scratch. The alloy, sheets, wires and tubes were all made by hand. Golden layers recall mushroom gills, while natural blue sapphires in different shades represent drops of rain. The layers and the sapphires appear suspended, without a visible base. The side view follows a golden spiral. A matte textured finish covers the surface. The ring measures 30 mm in width, 20 mm in depth and 30 mm in height.
Mushroom Fantasy Ring by Sanaz Doost has been highlighted as an outstanding illustration of fashion design by the A' Design Award. Mushroom Fantasy Ring won the Bronze A' Design Award in Jewelry Design in 2021. The A' Jewelry Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design prize which rewards exceptional design of rings, necklaces, bracelets, earrings, brooches, pendants, cufflinks, anklets and more.
