Yashang Hing Tau Ball
Yashang Hing Tau Ball is a packaging design for meatball products. The graphics are based on the raw materials of the food inside. Animal images are arranged as modern graphic compositions, and each type of raw material is identified by a contrasting color. The strong color contrast supports visual impact on retail shelves. The design also refers to the auspicious traditional customs of the Chaoshan area in China, and a red envelope is placed around the product. Paper printing, food grade plastic and a silk belt are used. The package measures 260 by 150 by 260 millimeters.
Yashang Hing Tau Ball Food by Team Mars has been featured as a grand illustration of communication design by the A' Design Awards. Yashang Hing Tau Ball Food earned the Silver A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2021. The A' Packaging Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design prize that celebrates excellent design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
