Mai 12 Collection
Mai 12 Collection is a set of silver jewelry that includes a bangle and a ring. The design is inspired by the twelve indented corners, known as Mai 12, a feature of traditional Thai architecture in which the corners of a square structure are recessed. The collection reinterprets the indented stupa form by twisting the shape and shifting the corners to create dimension. A grajang pattern decorates the surfaces and gives the pieces a contemporary character. Production is carried out in silver with computer aided design and manufacturing technology.
Mai 12 Collection Silver Jewelry by SONTAYA PANSUPA was selected as an innovative example of fashion design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Mai 12 Collection Silver Jewelry won the Bronze A' Design Award in Jewelry Design in 2021. The A' Jewelry Design Award is a highly prestigious international design accolade that rewards excellent design of rings, necklaces, bracelets, earrings, brooches, pendants, cufflinks, anklets and more.
