Elves
Elves is a camping accessory set designed to reduce environmental impact. The set includes a solar powered fire pit, a drip coffee brewer, tableware and a hanging light. The fire pit provides an area for roasting marshmallows and folds down for transport. Lights are embedded in each piece, forming decorative patterns that replace a table cloth and create ambiance after dark. Oak wood, steel and PLA are used for the products, with thin cardboard for the packaging. The set invites families to gather outdoors without adding carbon emissions.
Elves Camping Accessories by Qing Yan has been selected as an exceptional example of industrial design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Elves Camping Accessories received the Silver A' Design Award in Outdoor Gear and Camping Equipment Design in 2021. The A' Camping Gear and Outdoor Equipment Design Award is a highly prestigious international design competition which honors outstanding design of tents, sleeping bags, backpacks, camping stoves, lanterns, Multi-Tools, hiking boots, water filters and more.
