C R is an apartment interior design completed in Lisbon, Portugal. The apartment occupies the former social floor of a building first built as a Hotel Particulier, where eleven rooms shared a single bathroom. The original mural and ceiling paintings were preserved and restored by artisan painters. Five new bathrooms, along with bedrooms and a kitchen, were added by means of structural furniture and partitions in glass, mirrors, stainless steel and brass. Velvet and marble follow the original colors, joining 18th and 21st century design.
C R Apartment by Vitor Almeida has been featured as an outstanding representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award. C R Apartment was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2021.
