House in Repino
House in Repino is a private house located in Repino, Leningrad region, Russia. The house has a total area of 1000 square meters. The villa community set one strong rule: all residences had to follow a Wright-like style. The design takes the rule into account and interprets the style in an original way. The house is integrated into the landscape. Existing trees are preserved as far as possible, and some trees pass through the canopies to create a rhythm and a closer relation between architecture and nature. Stone, wood and metal are the main materials.
House in Repino Residential by Shamsudin Kerimov has been featured as a creative example of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. House in Repino Residential won the Golden A' Design Award in Architecture, Building and Structure Design in 2021. The A' Architecture, Building and Structure Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design prize which celebrates outstanding design of skyscrapers, museums, residential buildings, commercial complexes, educational institutions, religious structures, infrastructure designs, landscaping projects and more.
