House On The Cliff
House On The Cliff is a residential building located in Algarve, in the southern part of Portugal. The total area is 250 square metres. The architectural solution consists of two rectangular volumes embedded in each other, and the vertical chimney appears at their intersection. The rhythm of the structure is set by the complex form and by the multidirectional textures of the facade cladding. Only natural materials and their derivatives are used. The main volume is made of architectural concrete, and the second volume is clad in metal that oxidizes over time.
House On The Cliff Residential Building by Shamsudin Kerimov has been recognized as an outstanding representation of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. House On The Cliff Residential Building won the Silver A' Design Award in Architecture, Building and Structure Design in 2021.
