Jin Yue Wan
Jin Yue Wan is a sales center located in Wuxi, China, in the Jiangnan region. The building covers 700 square meters and takes inspiration from the local Jichang Garden. Traditional methods of stacking stones, planning water systems, arranging plants, installing lattice windows and paving shape the six garden landscapes around the building. Courtyards bring nature into the interior and add layers to the spaces. The landscape pavilion uses classical mortise and tenon joints and was built without nails. The design joins Chinese architectural elements with modern techniques.
Jin Yue Wan Sales Center by C&D Inc. (Wuxi Subsidiary) was recognized as an innovative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Jin Yue Wan Sales Center won the Silver A' Design Award in Architecture, Building and Structure Design in 2021. The A' Architecture, Building and Structure Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design award which celebrates exceptional design of skyscrapers, museums, residential buildings, commercial complexes, educational institutions, religious structures, infrastructure designs, landscaping projects and more.
