Stoked KL
Stoked KL is a workplace interior designed as an open studio rather than a conventional office. The 1300 square foot space measures 15400 mm in width, 8000 mm in depth and 3900 mm in height. A cafe like pantry with a movable bar table meets visitors at the entrance. A meeting room, a lounge area with an art mural and an open material library complete the layout. Acoustic panels reduce noise and reverberation under the high ceiling and also form a feature wall. Natural light and tropical references set the mood, and the studio can serve as an event space in the evening.
Stoked KL Workplace by Stoked Associates, Okamura International was selected as an outstanding representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Stoked KL Workplace was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2022. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design award that rewards excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
