Porto
Porto is a lounge chair designed for comfort and privacy at home. The chair has a large elliptical headrest that shields the seated person from visual and auditory distractions during conversations held in person or online. Converging angles and curves form a sculptural shape that embraces the body and supports the lower back. A swivel and tilt mechanism allows a full 360 degrees view and responds to body movement. The mechanism is fitted in the base of the seat and upholstered afterwards for a seamless appearance. A matching footrest completes the chair.
Porto Relax Chair by Frans Schrofer was identified as an innovative representation of industrial design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Porto Relax Chair received the Silver A' Design Award in Furniture Design in 2022. The A' Furniture Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design recognition program that recognizes excellent design of chairs, tables, sofas, beds, cabinets, shelves, desks, wardrobes and more.
