Sunac Guangshen Longshan
Sunac Guangshen Longshan is a commercial town interior completed in May 2020 in Qingyuan, China. The project combines a sales center with community services, including a vegetable pavilion and canteens. Local materials such as soil, green plants and wood are joined in new combinations. A wooden ceiling runs through the whole project as a unifying design language. Circular arch elements break the long space at its end and give a sense of extension. Walkways set around the display shelves guide movement and support interaction.
Sunac Guangshen Longshan Commercial Town by lu wen has been identified as an exceptional illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Sunac Guangshen Longshan Commercial Town was awarded the Golden A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2022. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design competition which recognizes superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
