Elegance
Elegance is a restaurant interior located in Taipei. The 152 square meter dining space follows the arc-shaped form of the building, and floor-to-ceiling windows open the room to the city view. Vertical decorative panels with milled curved lines gain strength from the curved structure, so heavy decoration is avoided. Dim lighting and small dot lights mark the length and the height of the room. Wooden textures, gold frames and grey mirrors add warmth and widen the view. The intent is a calm and refreshing place for guests.
Elegance Restaurant by Jacksam Yang has been highlighted as an innovative example of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Elegance Restaurant earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2022. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design accolade which recognizes outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
