Butterfly Acrobat
Butterfly Acrobat is a wraparound label for a bottle of Chilean wine. The design shows a woman who flies during a circus act, surrounded by butterflies. The graphics combine circus imagery with the flowers and fruits named in the tasting notes. The label measures 14 by 11 centimetres and is printed on self-adhesive paper with a pearly silver texture. Printing is done in six colours with digital technology, and the finishes include gold foil, mechanical relief and a medium gloss varnish. The paper is certified for responsible forest management.
Butterfly Acrobat Wine Packaging by Ximena Ureta has been recognized as an outstanding example of communication design by the A' Design Awards. Butterfly Acrobat Wine Packaging earned the Silver A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2022. The A' Packaging Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design award which rewards outstanding design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
