Marble Art With Zen
Marble Art with Zen is a residential apartment interior designed for a four-generation family in a mountain setting. The walls between two units were removed to create one large U-shaped apartment with wrap-around windows and wide river views. Two structural pillars are clad in marble with multiple angled faces, forming art installations. A wooden grate with warm tones and straight lines contrasts with the marble. The bedrooms are grouped in the wings for privacy, while the open common area supports shared use.
Marble Art With Zen Residential Apartment by You Liang Lin was selected as an exceptional example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Marble Art With Zen Residential Apartment received the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2022. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design recognition program that honors excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
