Moon of Elegance
Moon of Elegance is specifically designed for a retired senior couple, an easy flow of movement requires curvy elements without any sharp angles for safety concerns, and the sofa and the coffee table are also chamfered accordingly. Unlike the square layout of regular residences, Moon of Elegance has a small footage but makes the best of the space by means of many see-through elements. The integrated spatial design is highly functional, while making the space look bigger. Safety, practicality and easy maintenance for senior users are also considered.
Moon of Elegance Residential House by Jia-Chi Shiu was selected as an innovative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Moon of Elegance Residential House earned the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2022. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design recognition program that recognizes excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
