Mellow Refined Residence
Mellow Refined Residence is a 165 square meter home interior in New Taipei City, Taiwan. The design blends simple Japanese and Nordic styles with a warm milk-tea and gray color scheme. At the entryway, wooden-veined grilles meet flooring with marble veins. Lotos cement covers the main wall for high moisture absorption and air permeability, which suits the humid local climate. Tawny glass divides the wall to open up the space. Toxin-free green materials are used throughout, and integrated cabinetry provides storage for a family of four.
Mellow Refined Residence House by YU CHUN CHENG has been selected as a creative representation of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Mellow Refined Residence House won the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2022.
