Poly Tan Gim
Poly Tan Gim is a residential exhibition area and community park in Liwan District, Guangzhou, on the bank of the Pearl River. The landscape covers about 12,000 square meters and combines riverside neighborhood life with Lingnan culture, the culture of Guangdong and nearby provinces in southeast China. A shared entrance and clear circulation routes connect public and private spaces. Terrain divides the open areas and water features guide visitors. Original trees are kept. Gray stone, quartz brick, champagne colored metal and custom sprayed glass form the main surfaces.
Poly Tan Gim Residential Exhibition Area by Hu Sun has been featured as an outstanding representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Poly Tan Gim Residential Exhibition Area received the Silver A' Design Award in Landscape Planning and Garden Design in 2022. The A' Landscape Planning and Garden Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design accolade which celebrates outstanding design of landscape designs, public parks, residential gardens, urban plazas, campus designs, green roofs, waterfront developments, Eco-Parks, botanical gardens and more.
