Zens Art
Zens Art is a gallery interior of 340 square meters located in Guangzhou, China. The gallery moves away from the white box display model and uses vivid colors, light and shadow to present artworks. Spotlights mark the highlights of the space, while light above each work and shadow on the floor create a quiet atmosphere. A curved wall in desert yellow recalls the sunlight and sand of Casablanca. Circular steps form a public area inspired by the hall in the painting School of Athens. The design joins art with commercial function.
Zens Art Gallery by Robin, Wang has been highlighted as a creative example of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Zens Art Gallery earned the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2022. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design recognition program which honors exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
