Aris-Idc
Aris-Idc is an inspection robot developed for large data centers. The robot moves autonomously through the data room and monitors equipment, sound, gas and temperature in real time. A high-definition wide-angle camera records the servers in each cabinet, and image recognition software compares the indicator lights with preset settings to diagnose the running status. Results are shown in a software management system, and errors are reported to maintenance staff at once. Continuous unmanned inspection reduces heavy manual work in remote data centers.
Aris-Idc Data Room Inspection by Xuan Li has been highlighted as an innovative representation of service design by the A' Design Awards. Aris-Idc Data Room Inspection received the Silver A' Design Award in Robotics, Automaton and Automation Design in 2022. The A' Robotics, Automaton and Automation Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design recognition program which rewards outstanding design of industrial robots, medical robots, agricultural robots, domestic robots, autonomous vehicles, humanoid robots, telepresence robots, underwater robots and more.
