One Villa
One Villa is a residence located in Jiujiang, Jiangxi Province, China. A symmetrical layout, simple lines and a Chinese-style spatial order recall traditional Jiangnan architecture. The slightly curved roof is a modern interpretation of traditional roofs. Metal roof panels, blue walls, dark grey tiles and bronze-colored metal grilles form the outer surfaces. The plan has three layers, a front gateway, a middle transitional space with a corridor and water feature, and a back courtyard with a viewing loft. The design offers a calm and secluded living environment.
One Villa Residence by SIA DESIGN has been recognized as an innovative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. One Villa Residence earned the Silver A' Design Award in Architecture, Building and Structure Design in 2022. The A' Architecture, Building and Structure Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design award which honors superior design of skyscrapers, museums, residential buildings, commercial complexes, educational institutions, religious structures, infrastructure designs, landscaping projects and more.
