Zhongjiao Tianjun
Zhongjiao Tianjun is a real estate sales office located near the mountainous landscape of Jizhou in Tianjin, China. Ancient Chinese folklore and fables are reinterpreted as immersive installations and sculptures within the exhibition space. Soft earthy tones and custom furniture create a calm ambience and reflect an eastern sensibility. The main materials are solid wood, stone, metal and resin. One wall installation recalls rocks piled along the edge of the sea, while a suspended mechanical installation moves above the rows of seating in the lobby.
Zhongjiao Tianjun Sales Office by Lei Dong has been identified as an exceptional illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Zhongjiao Tianjun Sales Office earned the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2022. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design accolade that recognizes excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
