Vintage Look
Vintage Look is an interior design for a hair salon in Taichung City, Taiwan. The 72-square-meter space contains a hairdressing area, a hair washing area, an equipment storage, a counter and a pedestrian arcade. Arched mirrors framed with titanium plating bars and wall lamps placed between the seats are combined with blue linear wallpaper. The wave modeling walls are made from recycled fiberboards, and the floor is paved with marble-imitating tiles. French windows and three-layered doors bring daylight and fresh air into the long and narrow interior.
Vintage Look Commercial Space by Fu-Kai Bai was highlighted as a grand representation of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Vintage Look Commercial Space received the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2022. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design award that rewards superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
